TOMORROW MAY NEVER COME!

TOMORROW MAY NEVER COME!

The evening sky dipped ,
Hues of nimbus blue,,
Kissed the endless horizon,
Riot with sunset colors,
Aimless drifting clouds.

Like a kaleidoscope of yesterdays,
Those yesterdays spent and gone
Merged into vague today,
Many things to be said,
Yet never still shared!

Waiting for tomorrow,
Thinking I would say it later..
But those tomorrows never came....

The warmth of my grandpa’s fingers,
The tenor of my grandma’s voice,
The lingering fragrance of my mother,
The feel of my daddy’s hair.
,The assuring hugs of my sisters,
The moments of joy spent with loved ones

Why did I not say it then?

Why did I not say it often?,

That I loved them all so dear ,

I waited endlessly for some tomorrow...

But those elusive tomorrows never came. ,

The cloak of gathering dusk spread,

Blue hues turned shades of grey,

Today was about to take repose,

"Hold on !" I cried out!

Let me! let me! say it today,

For those tomorrows may never come,

Like all those tomorrows that passed by

And never, ever came by,

Let me say it now!

You are my soul!
